Rubbish removal gone too far!
How a standard rubbish removal turned out to be much more complex.
We had a job for rubbish removal from a client's site - unfortunately, the instructions were for "rubbish removal including the deck" (but only rubbish on the deck). By the time we clarified the instructions, it was too late, and the deck had been completely removed. This put us in a very challenging position with our client and also the landlord.
What we did to rectify the situation
With the patience and understanding of both our client and the landlord, we were able to come to a solution that suited all parties. Luckily, we were able to salvage some of the materials from the original deck and were able to rebuild the deck at no extra cost to the client.
This was all made possible by the long working relationship established between Kelly and our client as well as the close working relationship she has with our contractors.
Sometimes things don't quite go according to plan and when they don't, you want to make sure you have a solid team behind you, and we are fortunate enough to have that at IPM - where our team shares our values and is willing to go the extra mile for our clients to get the job done.
What we can take from this is that it always pays to clarify what is required on a job and to make sure all parties are on the same page.
