2024 was a year of both challenges and opportunities for IPM. One standout moment was a flood recovery job that showcased our team's professionalism and expertise, resulting in a highly satisfied landlord and property manager. What could have been a costly disaster was swiftly managed, minimising damage and disruption.
Late on a Friday evening, we received an emergency call from a tenant dealing with major flooding caused by burst pipes in an upstairs bathroom. Within an hour, our team was on-site—our plumbing technician quickly addressed the plumbing issue, while our electrician ensured the electrical system was safe, and our flood recovery team worked efficiently to extract water from the carpets while setting up industrial fans and dehumidifiers to dry the walls, ceilings, and flooring.
Thanks to our rapid response and coordinated effort, we saved the property manager a lot of hassle trying to organise flood recovery after hours. The property was left moisture-free, with minimal damage to the walls, ceilings, and carpets.
